Alessandra Moretti was born in Trento in 1967. She is a dancer, teacher and graphic. 
Her first studies are on visual arts than, in France, she dedicates herself to the improvement of dance.
She has been studying with: Gianin Loringett, Marc du Bovays, Elisabeth Kann, Teri Weikel, Yoko Wakabayashi, Marina Van Hoecke.
From 1990 to 1992 she dances with the “Ballet Théatre l’Ensemble” of Micha Van Hoecke, taking part to all company's productions and to the international tournées.
In 1993 she starts collaborating with ALDES, under the direction of Roberto Castello, first as a dancer, taking part to all of company's productions, than as assistant to the choreography.
In 1997 she took care of the collaboration with the Cnuce CNR in Pisa, informatics department, for the creation of a library of 3D computer graphics movements and since 1998 she has been carrying on together with the performance activity the teaching, the graphic and the 3D/virtual choreography. She is also co-author with Roberto Castello of all main company's productions.
Ubu Prize for theatre/dance in 2003 for the project “Il migliore dei mondi possibili” (The best of the possible worlds). In 2008 she is co-founder of SPAM!, a space for contemporary and peformance arts. -
